CANCELLATION POLICY

Teacher Conflicts:Illness or other emergencies may arise which prevent the teacher from offering a lesson at a scheduled time. If the teacher is unable to provide a scheduled lesson due to illness or other reasons, make-up lessons will be scheduled at a time when the student and teacher are available. No refunds or credits will be provided if the make-up lesson cannot be scheduled. In the event a make-up lesson cannot be scheduled, student will be required to make a progress video to send to the teacher within 48 hours. When received the teacher will provide either a written or video response to provide feedback to the student. This will count as the makeup lesson so the student does not fall behind.

Student Conflicts:If the student needs to cancel a conflicting lesson and the reason for the absence is (in the judgment of the studio) beyond reasonable control of the student (e.g. inclement weather, illness, no ride, etc.), the student must provide AT LATEST 2 hours advanced notice to schedule a makeup lesson or to provide a recording of current progress.If the student provides no notice within 2 hours and does not show to appointed time, s/he will be charged for lesson and there will be no makeup lesson.

When deciding whether a student should come to lessons due to illness, consider the following; If the student is unable to go to school/work due to the conditions of the illness,PLEASE NOTIFY THE TEACHER AND DO NOT COME TO LESSONS.Conversely, if the student is able to go to school/work due the condition of the illness,PLEASE COME TO LESSONS.

MAKEUPS: If the student cancels the makeup lesson within 2 hours prior to the session, the lesson will not be made up again and the student will be charged the original lesson time. If the student misses the makeup lesson or does not call to cancel within AT LATEST 2 hours, the student WILL be charged and no further makeup lesson will be provided for the month.In the event a make-up lesson cannot be scheduled, student will be required to make a progress video to send to the teacher within 48 hours.
