Hosted by MTNA at a National level, each contest is an opportunity for students to receive cash prizes for their work in a variety of categories (Click on the categories for registration information, awards, and judging criteria):

• Composition
• Solo and Duet Performances
  • Junior Level
  • Senior Level
  • Young Artist Level
• Chamber Performances
• Stecher-Horowitz Two Piano Competition

To be eligible to compete in the above National Competitions, students must pass the following levels (Click on the level for registration information and contest dates):

• State (IL)
• Division

Berkley-Pendell Piano Scholarship Competition and Festival

Hosted by the West Suburban Chapter of Illinois State Music Teachers Association, this contest is an inter-chapter event extended to participants in the Naperville, Salt Creek, and Waubonsee Chapters.
